Couples Photographs
After the formality of the ceremony and a whirlwind of congratulatory hugs from family and friends (and once you’ve had a chance to have a sip of something fizzy) we’ll take a few moments out to get some beautiful photographs of the two of you. Short and sweet, the couples photographs will take around 15 or 20 minutes.  Rather than posing for the camera, we’ll go for a little wander together around the grounds and I’ll capture your connection, joy and happiness at being just married. I love capturing images of you walking together, holding in hands and more often than not, sharing a great laugh!
I often hear back from my couples saying that they enjoyed it much more than they thought they would because they loved spending a few precious moments together, away from the rest of the congregation. When I’m editing I love seeing the range of emotions you share in these few moments together, lovely genuine moments where you’re happiness just sings as you go ‘eeek we’ve just got married’!
On the day, I’ll be scouting out some beautiful backdrops for your couples photographs which showcase the essence of your venue, the time of year and whats in bloom. We’ll work with the light to really make your photographs sing. Images from your couples portraits are likely to be some of the ones that will be on your wall or in a frame on the mantelpiece in years to come and I love how this time alone captures that little bit of just married magic.
